Simple Wish

We are nearing our dear little Wiley's first birthday and I put a few of my thoughts down on paper. I thought it would be nice to have this on your first person page. He was born on Feb. 9th 1996 and died May 2nd We would like to hear from others so you may include our e-mail address. Thank you so much for all that you have done.

Simple Wish

A baby's first year is full of milestones,
It's hard to keep up with the changes each day
From raising their head, and rolling over in bed,
That first precious smile, the games that they play.

Then one fateful morning was the last milestone
the one milestone we wish didn't have to be.
That morning will burn our hearts for life,
Your departure to heaven touched all, everyone.

Our minds often wander from day to day,
of what you would be doing growing up in this world
you'd learn to sit up, crawl, stand, take that first step
and how you would play with your brother, Caleb.

A baby's first year is full of milestones
Being in the presence of Jesus our Lord,
adorned in the heavenly body, a new
No fears, no worries, just Love, Peace and Joy.

You took your first step for God in Heaven,
To picture this, is our lasting memory of you.
Happy first birthday, Wiley, from Earth up to Heaven
