Dear Ryan,

I never got to meet you,
Though I guess I will some day,
I would have loved to hear of how you'd walk and talk and play.
Please share your smile & laughter
With others lost along the way,
Tell them that they're missed
And that we wish you all had stayed.
A wondrous place is Heaven
Way up so high and far,
Angel wings and sunshine
Is your nightlight a twinkling star?
I'll float some kisses toward Heaven
Since we know that's where you are,
Have Grandpa tell you stories about catching fireflies in a jar.
