We watched your birth and were awed
by nature's way
Your mother and father worked so hard
to see you safely born
You were whisked away to machines
that said you would be alright
Our joy overflowed
But while we were unaware
you went on Angel's wings
And while milk and blood flowed
we were left with empty arms
But our hearts will hold you
and remember those joyous days
