To my god daughter Julia:

Yesterday I remember holding you tight.
Yesterday I remember saying I love you as I kissed you goodnight.
My memories of yesterday so fresh in my mind.
If I could only hold you one last time.
Years have gone by since you passed. There are times I feel
Weak for I can not be strong. Yes I do cry, sometimes all day long.
The pain of yesterday remains so heavy in my heart,
But your sweet memories will never part.
When I see a full moon, I know what you are doing.
You are out with the other lil angels playing ball.
When I see the brightest star, I then know where you are.
You are looking down on us, looking out for us all.
When I rains it pours, but I know you are sending your love to us once more.
When the sun shines our hearts are swell, you are sending us
A message that you are doing well.
Good bye to yesterday, hello tomorrow. In time will mend all my sorrows.
