Smiling again

by Doris Arauj

Date: 97-05-25 13:45:15 EDT

I lost my baby the 16th of January this year. He was a stillborn (37 wks).
Not everyday passes that I don't think about him, and I still cry. But
there is hope out there for every single mom that has lost a baby, and I
have learn that there is a god that help us trough the process of
healing, and there is also an angel hugging you when you are alone or
sad. Ask your little angel to hug you, is a wonderful feeling.
Life goes on any time you want to, you just have to start taking care of
yourself... go to work, read, do any manual work, write, paint, rearrange
your life again. It is very hard to start smiling again, but if I did it, you
can do it too, and when you start, your world changes for better. While
you are in the process, your feelings are going to be like on a
roller coaster, allow your feelings to come and go as you please, but
don't stop doing your normal chores. You'll see that as the time passes
by, your soul will calm down and all of a sudden, you will find in yourself
a more peaceful and whole woman, and you'll be proud of yourself for
being who you are: a very strong person that can accomplish any hard
task no matter how painful.
If you want to talk to me about anything, please do:

Keep smiling, I bet your baby would love to see you do it.
