Gestational Diabetes and SIDS

In reply to a question about gestational diabetes and SIDS:

In general, there has been concern that anything which might adversely effect the pregnancy might also increase the risk of the baby for SIDS. However, I am not aware of any studies which suggest that gestational diabetes increases the SIDS risk.
